"You have reached the first checkpoint in Honor Level 1"

I was Honor level 2. Then I receive this notification upon logging in. I don't know what I did to lose honor. I didn't receive anything else telling me about "bad behavior". I play ARAM exclusively, except one or two games of Teamfight Tactics recently. I don't say anything in game. I have my chat box shrunk down too small to read. I'm always there to help my team. What did I do to get penalized?

Does anyone else feel irritated by this? If we're going to lose Honor we should be told why. And there's nothing to even check your Honor except "Honor Level X" and "Checkpoint X of 3".

What are these checkpoints? They're completely intangeable. Why can't we see some type of progress bar? Just a bunch of vague numbers with an empty promise. Showing progress toards Honor Levels with something equally as vague as "checkpoints" is pretty insulting.

It's like we asked for a way to track our progress and they reinstated the same exact dilemma and called it a solution. Without some type of checklist or progress bar, "checkpoints" do nothing to show us our progress. And to repeat myself, we also lose progress without explanation.

The Honor System just seems terrible.

Actually it is Riot's easy way to make you create a new account and spend money on it... the "new" system is a trap for old players to actually leave the game... the reason you "lost" your honor is because too many players reported you and yet Riot has no reason to send you a restriction or to suspend your account because you dont do anything wrong. Basically they allowed, for quite sometime now , players to get reported whether they deserve it or not and they punish them based on their reports whether they deserve the punishment or not. They dont "create" an honor bar because if you knew what progress you have done you would correct your behavior or mute the chat alltogether and they are counting on the fact that someday in 1 GAME you might lose your cool and answer to a troll, they will mark you as "toxic" for that one time and you will never be able to move from honor level 1 for the rest of your gaming time which means you will not get your rewards whatever rank you are even if you try your hardest to rank higher up. It is their new policy that started since honor level 2 became a thing that you must have to receive the seasonal rewards. It is a money hungry strategy where Riot doesnt respect the players that made her such a big company and she sees them only as money bags. It is not the honor system that has the problem but the "justice system" that Riot created after the Tribunal was removed. And yet they have in their Terms of Use the fact that the Tribunal still exists somewhere in the depths of the game and decides who is getting a punishment and who isnt, when in reality it doesnt exists as it used to, where players voted who gets a punishment and who doesnt. I figured out for quite sometime that the players who spend even a cent in their game and in their account get harder punishments so they never are able to actually receive their seasonal rewards and be forced to create new accounts. If you dont spend money you might not get restrictions but your honor level all of a sudden might drop a level just in time so you wont receive your rewards. The game has changed in 10 years from one fun game to play to a constant anxiety because of the "justice system" and Riot stopped listening to the players a long time ago. When a kid that is frustrated because he lost can report you for no reason and that report counts on your record things like that will keep happening and Riot wont change it because she benefits as a company from it. My advice is to create a new account, the level up nowdays is faster and way easier as it used to be. And as you reach level 30 start again and create another account to have a back up because Riot will do whatever it is in her power to make money. And the only reason to do that is to deny players their rewards. The game once upon a time was all about the skill you have to get your rewards, now it is all about how you behave... It doesnt matter if you are an Iron player it matters how you behave among other teamates, even if this means that you ruin people's games with your luck of skill. The best way to change that and make Riot listen to the players is for players to stop playing the game and force Riot to listen. BUT this will never happen... If the whole community had the balls to boycott the game so Riot understands the frustration something might happen, but this is impossible... So trick the system as many do, dont even try to level up your honor again, it doesnt worth your time, you will hate yourself and you will waste your time. Create a new account and mute the chat, dont ever speak in a game and if your honor drops again hold Riot accountable as to why. They will bring it back up to avoid any legal action against them. It is the only way to play the unfair "justice system" Riot created.

Ask riot support and see what's happening.

This has happened to me twice. Support told me that they do not make manual adjustments to players' honor level, so basically yer SOL.
