Hi people,

So weeks ago I had posted a thread with people getting away with "kill yourself" variations and support members acting very lightly against those who do get reported.

Today a new topic:

After I got instantly banned for "KYS" for 14 days (IFS), not soon after I got again 14 days banned. I have posted the reform card in a support ticket and the support agent said this:

~ Just to clarify, I meant you got reported for using "wtf" and for insulting another player by calling them "drunk and mad", ~

Remember people, in LoL it seems you may not call someone mad, drunk, use fuck, use wtf, BUT, you may use "end your life", "spin of a cliff".

Kys is very irritating and provocating word, it is possible to get you banned from saying it just once. Instead of complaining cuz getting banned for 14 days again, be thankful that it is not a permanent ban. Not much players get this luxury.

Hmmm.... based on those support tickets, I'm guessing those were punishments on separate accounts? Each account has their on toxicity meter and whether the account gets punished will depend on the account's behavioral history.

Let's have you understand the behavioral system a bit more. Think of it like a health bar (or tension meter) in music games. When you hit the note at an off beat, your tension meter increases. When you completely miss a note, the meter increases by alot. When you hit the note at good timings, it reduces the meter.

Riot's behavior system works the same way, as in we all have a toxicity meter attached to our accounts. When players are mildly toxic, it goes up a tad. When people use hate speech, it pretty much fills up the meter. of course, clean games reduce the meter.

So one account might have been at 99% toxicity and minor insults like calling someone drunk would have been enough to get it punished. Whereas if an account was at 0% it is likely that it won't get punished for 1 use of KYS alone.
