You are ineligible to earn loot due to previous behavioral restrictions.

So I had gotten a 2 week ban during my college winter break like a at the late end of last year going into this year.. and I just got out of my first game since crafting was made public and now it says I cant earn loot. Im wondering how long I have to wait to get it if I can even get it at all which if I can never get it is totally unfair. I was banned for being aggressive in game chat trash talking teammates and all that jazz. I realize it was wrong and since then have not done so as well as I rarely talk in game. It would be nice to get a Riot Employees reply. Ive basically been "clean" for 2 months and now a system that seems to be based solely on your performance as a player in game is trashing me because I got banned for speaking 2+ months prior doesn't seem right to me.

In order to receive rewards your account must be in normal standing, it takes 3 months to drop a tier. The tiers go 10 Chat ban, 25 game chat ban, 2 week ban, and then perma ban. If you received a 2 week ban then it will take 9 months to drop down back to normal.

It takes 3 months to go down a tier. So it takes 9 months. Do you think that sucks? Maybe you shouldn't have been a dick.

Short answer no one knows. Riot did a blanket restriction on everyone who had been punished prior to the system being released. I don't know how far back they went. At least a year it looks like.

From my understanding you need to have a clean slate. As in how the tiers of punishment works, its 3 months to drop a tier, so since it was a two week ban, im assuming you need to clear up possibly 6-9 months as that would put you in the clear. Again though im not 100% on this. honestly they havent really been clear on all this. But i can see why they are doing this. Toxic people should never be rewarded for anything. And being able to participate in this and still break the rules isnt something i would want in the game. But you have to prove you have changed for the better. So many people come on these forums stating they truly changed, theyll never be toxic, and low and behold they get ban again and again till the eventual permaban. If you honestly have changed for the better prove it by clearing up the tiers as required.

Oh hey, a duplication thread that floods the forums instead of a comment in an already existing thread for the same topic.

It's like Thresh+relic shield "bug" all over again.

RiotNeuroCat on hextech restrictions (via reddit.com)

They are working on a better feedback system but basically if you're still not receiving loot drops then the system hasn't declared you reformed due to more valid reports being filed since your restriction ended. Read the link for more.

Or don't, the answer is simple: play games and don't get valid reports filed against you.
