Hate Speech?

in my opinion, saying "stop feeding you fucking patzer scrub" is not abusive language/harassment if it's only said once. It is if said multiple times.

However, saying "stop feeding you n-word f-word" is unacceptable even if only said once, because it is hate speech.

I consider fighting words different from just being offensive/verbally abusive. If you're frustrated or angry and come off as offensive, that's VERY different from designing and structuring your communication around malicious emotions that have intent to hurt someone. Kinda like how accidentally bumping into someone you didn't see is nowhere near the same thing as full-body tackling someone to the pavement.

And this is just for example, so bear with me.

If I said "Wow wata scrub uninstall pls and refund dat skin" I would consider that VERY different from flaming someone in chat using racist, sexist, or prejudiced/bigoted language with malicious intent to hurt, like saying " $&#% you you piece of %@$* failed abortion I hope your dog and mom get ran over in the street tomorrow and left to die unburied while you eat their **** and die crying at their rotting corpses 10 days later."

It's not that they're trying to place higher value on certain types of people, they're just delineating offenses by their egregiousness. Two different things.

The fact you had to use the phrase 'SJW jargon' is telling.

Both are offensive but the thing is one of those comments are going to get you banned quicker. Too many people don't realize this, just because someone may not use the second of the above examples doesn't mean they are not being Toxic.

I believe you are not advocating either of the statements but making a point here, I'm just trying to say that both are going to get the person in trouble it is just a matter of time that it takes. As for fighting words well that is just that, ignore the ignorant and just play and have fun.

Let me put it simple... I honestly believe you know this but i will repeat it as many times as this kind of thread comes up ! There is a level of harassment that Riot is using.

OP I am Not speaking out Against you in an accusatory way. I believe you know the difference between hate speech and harassment.

I hate "Hate speech" And you have to say I don't like being harassed put down by people trying to sway our opinion about the difference between being a 'Jerk' or a Major 'Jerk' When people put up threads to make us as a community look like cry babies, or W/E insult they pick..We should stand up and say ....I Don't LIke Being Treated Badly And I Won't Stay Silent Anymore.
