Toxicity has no impact on climbing elo
Anecdotes don't matter because it's been proven that higher elo toxic players get high elo over and over.
Elo is about skill not toxicity.

I'm more inclined to trust Riot in this one, as they have the data to compare a player's behavior to their MMR over the same time, and view changes in both over a large sample size.
I doubt it's an especially large correlation (so it makes sense that a toxic high-ranking player could easily earn a high rank), but I would not be surprised to hear that most players find their MMR slightly higher when their behavior is good vs. bad.
If a person is rude it affects teamwork, people are less likely to help you. Some people even go as far as trolling someone when they get annoyed enough at a teammate.
Is trolling allowed? No. But the system is not going to catch subtle trolling easily and even if they get caught and punished it does nothing for the troll currently in your game that's destroying your chances of victory. If you behave in a way that attracts more people to troll you you're going to lose more games to trolls.
If victories was completely based off individual skill you would have a point. But it's not. Teamwork is essential.
please provide this "proof"
You claim it. You substantiate it.
Have you never seen someone get upset after someone flame them and decide to troll? This decrease toxic people win rate, so their MMR.
It doesn't even need a troll, just the fact that people focus less on the game by fighting in tchat or some people performance decrease in negative environnement.
Making your team play worse with toxicity will decrease your win rate.
Jeez, another one? I take it you have been punished recently, and now you are just venting. Correct me if i'm wrong.
If it's been proven, provide the proof?
Just remember kids, anyone negative on your team, report them for Int.
