Why do I lose LP when there's an AFK on my team?

If you aren't afking then statistically you should end up winning more because of afk's than losing.

On the flip side, if the enemy had an AFK, would you be willing to not gain LP?

I imagine it would be pretty easily abusable if no one lost or gained LP exclusively for one AFK player. I can understand /remake holding off LP loss/gain, but holding off LP loss/gain just for there being any one person AFK'ing would probably completely ruin Ranked.

I would promote toxicity and afking

"oh no we're losing the game" "fucking top is 0/5, he is the reason we lost" "fuck you top go afk we don't want to lose lp because you you you dumbfuck" "yeah fuck you top!"

Or

"oh no we're losing the game" "dw guys this isn't my main account just one of my smurf ill go afk so you don't lose."

It would be too exploitable.
