Why does Riot ban a player for 2 weeks without telling them the reason for banning them?

If you don't know or understand the reason for getting banned, how can you stop doing what you got banned for?

I donno if I have ever heard of a 14 day ban not having a pretty specific reason.

What exactly does it say when you login?
