I've been playing many ranked games recently to try ending in gold. I have bad games, everyone does, but my allies who have honor 4 or 5 flame me.
Isn't that a little counter intuitive?
I'm not complaining about my low honor level (3), I'm just confused how these players slip through.

Don't type, play long enough, and everyone gets honors.
could be them slipping a game in behavior, could be that they have more neutral games than negative ones (eventually the system catches up with them), you be you perceiving proper criticism as flame.
honor 4-5 dont matter in relevance to toxicity, i just got chat banned(no warning before hand THANKS) for a few games and I was honor level 4, now im honor level 1 and probably not gonna get end of season rewards, all because i swear at my frinds when im playing the game and other people take offense to it [zombie-brand-clap]
The issue is premades only honoring other premades. There is supposed to be a magical system in place to not reward them, but notice those terrible KDA kids, trolls, and flamers are always high honor level because they ALWAYS honor each other and never report each other.
The part that's not working seems to be that there is actually no limit to gaining honor from premades like we were told there would be.
The honor system is more about who carried, not who played honorably.
