Bans getting heavy handed?

I just recieved a permanent ban today. Aparrently I'm in the .006%.

Here's the letter I wrote Riot, and I want to know what you think?

I also will let you read the three games that this ban was recieved for.

I know that I'm guilty of having some poor sportsmanship, but I certainly don't think 4 behavioral reviews in 3 Seasons with about 1500-1700 games per season is a symptom of someone who deserves a PERMANENT Ban.

This account is unfortunately stuck in low elo because I quit a season, and worse, the preseason reset shoved me from a Silver III after placement clear down to Bronze IV. I average over 50% wins, closer to 55-60% wins on my mains in the long term (300-400 game sample sizes), so I have evidence I don't belong there. However, when you 55% at 500+ games in Silver or worse, bronze, it's an exercise in futility. You gain 17 points for a win, lose 24 or so on a loss. You occasionally get a trend that raises you 3-4 tiers, but then you get a series of bad teams that drop you back down. That's where my frustration lies.

anywho..... that in mind here:

First of all, I'm sorry that I'm an inconvenience, and that I don't recall the Account Signup or Store Information. My account is about 3 years old.

My account has some history of tribunal ramifications, and I would like apologize for my behavior.

However, I feel like some of the reports for which I am getting singled out are misfounded, and brutally overhandled. I do occasionally say "Damn" or something slightly less kind, but the frequency is so little! When I have been banned, it's been over maybe 1 word in 10 games that actually gets reported. In the 4 or so times I have been banned, They've spanned over a total of well over 1500 games per season on average (from what I can recall), and only pertained to 3-6 game reports per.

I also feel like I am the victim here, in some cases, because I take ranked serious, while many of my teammates don't and in fact have a severe tendency to troll or are way below my play skill level (the kind of teams that feed 10 kills in the first 5 minutes, snowballing teams almost beyond redemption). This specific account was Gold in Season 4, but I didn't seriously try to rank in Season V, so it got pushed back to very low bronze elo. Very low Bronze elo is where players like this tend to exist, and there are sometimes more than 2 per game. It makes me angry when I can't climb this account out, because my teams are toxic, are feeders, or just unskilled. I can carry a general 55% of games when playing certain champs, and have hundreds of games to prove as such, yet I can't climb because I can't always play those champs, which draws my performance closer to 51-52%, which makes my climb really slow.

I have also spent substantial real money on this account. It's money I shouldn't have spent, but I really enjoy your game. I didn't spend it to get banned, nor did I expect to for anything I say. I in fact normally attempt to moderate my language.

If you decide to review this account, I will admit to something. In Season 4, I did have a friend play the account for about a month and a half, and he was the one who actually got the first flag against my account. He was so bad, that he actually got it flagged as racist/homophobic. I am neither! My language consists of the language of frustration, not that of hatred or prejudice.

Please reconsider the ban. If you have to enact some sort of chat filter, do it. I know my chats can get racey because of where the account elo is. But I am a productive player and I really want to climb. I love my almost complete arsenal of champions, runes, and hundreds of skins that I have.

I think I'm more guilty of being a solo player in a team game, who tries to lead players who are unleadable. Most of my comments are purely about gameplay, decisions, and the inability of teammates to follow pings/awareness. Do you really think people who are trying to play a team game through communication under split second decision making should be excluded?

Please reconsider.

If you want to talk with me some more, to possibly get a real feel for who I am and whether or not I can conform to your expectations, I'm willing to do so. I'm willing to do whatever it takes to be able to play.

This was a game where I had first pick for mid, and other team counter picked. I had an Ahri vs a Heim I believe. A good heim scatters turrets, and makes it impossible for ahri to really clear them to go in for a kill. So I grabbed smite to smite 1 turret, use Q's to clear others and poke heim. As a reaction, teammates trolled me and started trash talking (as you can see most of what I said was defensive) I ended up 1/5 because Bard did what looked like a "gank" where instead he went in, stood in heim's turrets, and died. Team continued to trash me saying I was behind. (I began blocking them). Bard continued to set up bad plays, but because I was the Smite mid, I recieved the blame. After 1/5, I didn't die again for about 23 min of game. I actually got about 17 assists and 5 more kills in that time. Ez bot ended game some 340 cs and 4 towers, leading to later comments, because bot was spending about 70% time alone and abandoned by Bard. That game was about ...... 8 days ago?

This was tonight (the one that got a perma ban)

I ganked bot at level 2, and Jinx yolo fed bot first blood and almost soraka. Why didn't you recall refers to a Top Olaf getting a gank from me under Gnar turret, where we killed Gnar, both got out alive, and then olaf just stood in their jungle for about 2 minutes, and then pretty much stood still while Vi kiled him for shutdown gold.

Meanwhile, bot was Jinx and Soraka vs Poppy and Ashe. Jinx repeated died to Poppy before level 6. By level 6, Poppy was 6/1/6. That bad. I made comments about her being bad in response to that kind of scaling. She replied with some wise remark about how I don't know how poppy works, to which I replied about her not stunning unless you position wrong.

Xerath was laning vs a Karma, which has 2/3 his range. she was housing him in under turret anyways, and stood still for about 4 vi ganks under his own turret. He began attacking me for not ganking him, and blaming me for his bad plays. After his turret goes down, Xerath began stalking me through jungle and when I was about to clear a mob, he began nuking my mobs to starve me of my own jungle. He did this most of the remainder of the game as "revenge" for not ganking him.

The conversation got worse as they continued to engage (and die) vs the champs they already fed instead of split pushing/defending, where Olaf was trying to 1v4 vs champs 3 levels higher than him over and over.

Last comment: our base was dead and minon waves with Karma and Ashe had baron buffs. team made wise remark when I went after the champs and died while they focused waves of buffed minions.

This was about 3 games back. @ Ryze: I ganked Ryze vs a mundo who seemingly he didn't know how to lane or skill against (never saw him chain at all entire game and the post game damage was lowest on team). Anywho, when I ganked, Ryze ran in a straight line taking 5 mundo axes in a row without even trying to avoid. he admitted to it. I know ryze can outclear a mundo, so I was frustrated he was losing so hard mundo could take his turret while he was there with minion waves defending turret.....

Azir fed Talon 5/2 before level 7. I found that frustrating.

Meanwhile, both of them are blaming me for them feeding, because "I don't gank" when in reality, I've ganked all lanes when it was opportune. I had ganked bot about 7 times, and got 3-4 drakes over course of game. I literally couldn't even grind, because every time I fended off one lane push, another lane was losing.

Mundo ended game level 18 with over 340 cs. he was like 9/8/7. I ended game like 11/8/9 with 99 cs level 15. because the snowball was too great.

Do you see anything within these games that looks like language out of line by a magnitude great enough to recieve a perma ban? I understand I need a chat ban. But a perma ban?
