My 14 day suspension MIGHT be a bit too extreme?

so recently, i played a ranked match and got auto-filled support. it was late at night and i was sorta drunk, so when we started wrecking the enemy team i started trash talking. now, it might've been a bit too much, but i see MUCH worse stuff in basically every single match i play. i'm almost always really friendly, and get at least one "gg" honor every game. so what i'm saying is, compared to the stuff i see every game (KYS, get cancer, i hope ur family dies, etc...), the stuff i said was pretty tame, and i almost never act like this, so can't you go a little easy on me this time, Riot?

Kinda hard for us to judge if the behavior was tame or not without any chat logs to look at.

I mean... Just because you've seen worse doesn't mean you don't deserve a 14 day ban, and just because it's your first offense doesn't mean you don't deserve a 14 day ban. Maybe it would have been permanent and it got lessened to a 14 day ban. However, like AeroWaffle, if you do not show us the logs, typically people think the IFS didn't make a mistake because it's extremely rare it does.

If you said a racial slur of any kind then you were probably banned by an automation, I have said something along those lines and received a 14 day as well, Riot Skeletor set me straight when I asked for a little leniency, while we can't see the chat logs that is I believe the only thing that would get you banned that quick, unless you went REALLY hard in chat. Sorry to say, but they most likely wont lift it, and next time it occurs I believe its a perm ban so if you get drunk lay off the slurs man.

logs?

if you ask for our opinions you don't get to decide what we think is extreme or not

i don’t have the logs RN cuz i’m on my phone. but i didn’t use any racial slurs, the worst thing i said was “fa%%ot”. i’m also pretty sure i said one of our allies sucked **** but i wasn’t being serious. also, i am NOT a homophobe, i was just a bit drunk.

I'll just add this warning/note: Since you got your 14-day suspension, your next punishment will be a permanent suspension (like the 14 day suspension text warns you). So if IFS considers a report valid, you can say your account good bye. Therefore (if you wish to keep your account like most sane people) it is imperative that you fix your behavior; no negativity of any kind allowed. Therefore if someone says/does something that annoys you, mute him, don't say a word about it in the chat, don't ping spam, play the game as well as you can until it ends, and in the post-game-lobby report the annoyance if you think it was something that might be punishable. And you must keep behaving well, or it is ban hammer time.

In short: No negativity of any kind allowed! Mute, don't talk back, play as well as you can, report after the match, keep your account. Positive chat use is allowed and encouraged even; it will help in getting out of the dishonored pit.
