I think my honor's bugged

so i got a 2 week ban about a month ago, so as you can guess, my honor level got reduced to 0. since then i've been really nice, and i've gotten at least 1 honor every match. about 2 weeks ago, i got a message stating that my honor ranked up to honor level 1, and that i could get rewards again. i checked my profile and it still said honor level 0. i thought it was a bug, so i just logged off and expected my profile page to be updated in a day or two. it's been two weeks and i'm still honor level 0, and can't seem to level up. what's going on?

Honor progression is locked for a while after punishments.

I think you misread the message, you didn't level up to 1, you just unlocked honor.

After punishment, your honors progress gets locked and you have to prove to the system that you have reformed before you can receive honor a progress again.

The message you received was about you unlocking the eligibility for honors progress, not you moving to honors1.

did it maybe say Checkpoint 1 instead of Honor 1?

Otherwise, you can always send a support ticket and grt an answer straight from Riot about whether it's a glitch or one of the other possible reasons.

It probably was Checkpoint 1 of 3 toward reaching Honor 1.

I also am coming off of a 2 week punishment and it took me about a month to reach checkpoint 1 -- and I play multiple games per day.

That means it will take about 3 months and around 250 games before I reach Honor 1.

Also, I was told that it is different for everyone.

Also, you can check your progress if you go to your profile page and hover your mouse over the Honor 0.
