How to make league players attitudes positive

Riot has stated in an ask riot that they don't want to do a prisoners island for toxic players. but what do you think happens to permanently banned players? a minuscule amount will quit the game.. a very small amount, like tyler1, will buy new accounts. what happens to majority of permanently banned players? I'm not going to answer that because you're all smart.

Look I've leveled quite a few accounts from 1-30 to get multiple accounts to gold and If you tried to dare convince me that silver+ elo has more trolls, inters and toxic players than levels 1-30 I would need some HARD, HARD proof.

what's my point? this should be obvious, riot has now sent players who have been permanently banned to level 1. who else starts at level 1? new players. yeah I think you catch my drift. you're now basically forcing toxic and skilled players to play with unskilled and not yet toxic players. A worse prisoners island because the new non toxic players have to face toxic skilled players and that is highly likely driving away new league of legends customers.

I don't think league should be focusing on toxicity, I see every single game in all ranks and all levels people saying to report someone. I think riot really needs to hammer in the positive rewards and maybe when the game senses some words like fuck bitch ..... a popup and sound message should pop up to all players in that game saying "strive for those honorable rewards" and I don't think we should be permanently banning players unless we're going to ip ban them. what do i suggest?

I suggest that we(riot) strip skins from toxic players, strip champions from toxic players, (because permanently banning is already stripping all champions and all skins and all ranks I don't think this is any less fair) this will honestly be more frightening and would really drive home the message to be less toxic than having them creating a new account where they spend no rp and having that(level 5-25) banned. second we need to really, really drive home incentives to be honorable. I like this new honor level 5 system I really do, rewarding people who are never toxic with rewards. but I think this current system really just rewards those who aren't toxic. but what about a system that makes toxic and NEUTRAL players strive to be honorable(regardless of whether they really are or aren't) like seriously it may sound stupid.. but a system that if you say nice work team! 10 times in your game gives you 100 more ip (of course it would only count the nice work team! every 2 minutes, so you'd have to say it every 2-3 minutes throughout the 20-30 minute game) that type of a system could go a REALLY long way to making players who never type. and players who type negative things. become positive, and this would make it so that every 2-3 minutes.. 5 players on the team are saying nice work team! and you could even assign each lane their own words you know?

adc has to say nice warding____ [sg-soraka] or nice healing____ [sona-playing] or nice shields____ [poppy-wink] 10 times in a game and the message is only counted every 2 minutes so on and so fourth

thoughts on this riot?

TlDR permanently banning players is creating a prisoners island from level 1-30 and is mixing toxic players with newer players. so instead of permanently banning just strip away champions/skins 1 by 1 or bundle by bundle and maybe add queue restrictions and so on and maybe even a sticker to single them out in queue xD. riot should be focusing on honorableness instead of toxicity(people saying report someone every single game) implementing word missions allowing players who never type or type negatively to type positive messages for simple rewards like 100 more ip. new honors reward players who are not toxic instead of making players really strive to be honorable. (but it's a good first step)

In general, once you have been banned, Riot would prefer you not make any more accounts. They remove you from the game for a reason and the hope is that grind to 30 will discourage a certain number of people.

except now it's going to be... not a grind? I mean with the new rune/levels coming with preseason

^ exactly new leveling system if you currently just got an account to level 30 I believe it would be better to start a level 1 considering from what i understand you'll get a new champion every level... where as now you barely get any. once new update you can have 30 champions by level 30?

ULANOPO it's not about riots intent. it's about what's actually happening. level 1-30 is toxic because permanently banned players are going there. the ones who stay aren't discouraged and they don't even try to reform they just make low levels have a hard time. (edit: and they don't care about losing their level 10-30 account why? they never spend rp anymore anyways and it's such a low level.)

It's really not that big a deal to level a new account to 30. I have six accounts, 3 of which I leveled this season. Maybe its from years of korean mmorpg's but I grind it out in 3 days and then I have a new level 30. Having done that grind, I can tell you it is pretty friggin bad down there in the low levels. I think I met maybe 2 new players and the rest were just leveling a new account.

yes, see you know from experience it's toxic asf level 1-30 so riot has basically created a prisoners island mixed with newer players.

to all those voting no/never can you state why?

I don't want people constantly spamming chat with worthless phrases.

An honest compliment is a nice thing. A forced statement grates on my nerves.

hmm... i guess in my head it was more of. people looking for good game play that they can praise instead of focusing on the negative. honestly I do hate fake niceness but if 5 team mates each keep saying positive comments every 2 minutes spread out. Do you think it would counter toxicity? I guess what my ideal situation is someone is flaming. they realize they can say a nice comment for the 100+ ip and they then for a split second look for a teammate who just got a kill so they can say good work man! and then they stop focusing on being toxic.
