Why Doesnt Riot Ban Kys & Feggit In-Game?

I dont get the point of allowing these words in game. Literally if you say Kys or %%%got/Feggit/%%%, you will get a 14 day ban no matter the context it was used in. I havent been banned for it, but I have seen this happen for no reason to innocent people. I even tested it once to see if itd get me banned on one of my Bronze 3 accounts.

I said: "Please report my team, they told me to kys." (When they really didnt).

I got a 14 day ban 2 hours later because of it. Just 1 game, im willing to try it again and get a screen shot just to show you how absurd this is. And no I dont mind losing that account, its mmr is garbage even after winning 44 out of 48 games on it I still cant skip divisions.

I just dont get the point of keeping bannable words in League if your ban system is just gonna determine bans off a Language filter.

Edit: Notice how Riot bans F a g g o t/F G T on the forums but not in game, but not kys lol.

People find ways around blocks. If "kys" is banned, people will use "k y s." If that's banned, "KY S". If THAT'S banned, "ky5." People are more creative than an automatic chat bot ever can be -- look at your thread title as proof. A number of spellings of that word are blocked on the boards, but "feggit" isn't one of them. Hence why they're not censored (unless you're using the chat filter, and then some are). People should just not be using that sort of language.

It's because this is the new America/World. People's feelings matter more than anything else. They forgot the memo. Facts don't care about your feelings. Ha. If people are that sensitive they shouldn't be playing in a crude environment like league. People try to blame people for saying kys that leads to suicide. Honestly suicide is the most selfish things you can ever do. If you kys over a game you obviously have some serious problems and need to stop playing and go see a psychologist to discuss some issues.

Because nobody should be saying kys as it promotes self harm, nobody should be using racial nor homophobic terms such as what you described above as it downgrading, highly offensive and extremely inappropriate in a game life.

It's also a form of toxicity and allows league to see those that are being toxic and deal with them, people know these words should not be said but yet continue to say it that's on them.

^If this was actually the case, you could have e-mailed player support to likely get the 14-day ban reduced. The Instant Feedback system looks through the chat, and upon finding something in the zero-tolerance box, either 14-day or permabans the account.

Yes, because the majority of the time they are not quoting. There is no correct context to use those words in.

Those innocent people are a small minority. For that they can open up a ticket with Player support (the reform card urges them to do so.)

I'm kind of confused what this post is about, is banned because of the implementation of the word. Any sort of homophobic or racial slur gets you instantly punished if someone reports you for it no matter how you said it, or how you try tried to bypass the censor filter, riot has a TON of words inside of the system that gets picked up and will give you a instant punishment for.

You can keeping arguing this, but you still can't say those things w/o risking punishment. lol You have been told why they don't just filter the words.

The rest of this is called a tantrum. This isn't constructive and it won't Chang the rules.
