Was being called a 'retard' by my own teammates

I was receiving a lot of needless hate in my last game because I like to play Shaco support, and my own teammate banned it to spite me, and then just spent the whole game with another player being rude and insulting to me, and calling me a retard and making jokes of that nature.

I work with actual kids and teens with developmental disabilities and hearing people using it like an insult like that particularly hurts, and I let them know in chat, but they kept up the insults and rudeness. I just came to vent that and I really hope that Riot won't allow verbal harassment like this to pass.

I genuinely believe calling people a 'retard' is a particular kind of hate speech and I just hope action is taken.
