This forum makes me realize how many player's apparently don't read the ToS.
You literally have to agree to it when you first make an account lol.

Toxic Player: Oh a game where I can say and do whatever I want and NOTHING they can do about it!
Logs in the next day
Your account has been permabanned
Toxic Player: Wait? WHAT!? But I AM INNOCENT! I only defended myself, oh and this player did not play how I wanted him/her to? Why am I not allowed to flame people who don't play how I want them to? And WHY I can't I flame people? They don't know who I am!? I'm not hurting anyone?? Oh and also that person was a troll! Why am I not allowed to flame trolls or threaten to report them?
Riot: Oh it's because you agreed to this before you even downloaded the game: "Term of Use" 5. CODE OF CONDUCT 5.1. Can I troll, flame, threaten or harass people while using the Riot Services? (No. If you do, you might get banned.)
Toxic Player: Oh well I want all my money back NOW!
Riot: Oh and you also agreed to this: 2.2. What happens if my account is terminated? (No LoL for you.) If your account is terminated, you’ll no longer have access to it, including any of the associated data or content (e.g., champions, skins, Riot Points, etc.). You’ll not be entitled to any refunds and we’ll have no liability to you. We also reserve the right to terminate any other accounts you may have created (also without any refunds or liability to you).
Riot: So no. No refunds. Now stop trying to ruin people's gaming experience and be nice. Oh and Read the Summoner's Code, because you also agreed to follow that in: 2.1.3. The Tribunal®. The Tribunal® system allows our community of users to police the compliance of other users with the “Summoner’s Code,” which outlines the principles of ideal game play behavior, as well as with our other policies.
(LET'S NOT FORGET THAT I HAVE THE RIGHT TO DEFEND MY SELF WHEN SOMEONE ATTACKS ME VERBALLY ESPECIALLY ON THE FU*KING INTERNET)
No, you actually don't. This isn't a free speech issue. Riot controls the space, which grants them the authority to set the rules. If they don't want you in their house, you have to leave.
^^^this is a point i wish more people understood ^^^
You're saying that like LoL's ToS is the only ToS people don't read...
[zombie-brand-mindblown]
And the hilarious thing is that they seem to not have the vaguest of clues as to what's in there. Like I've never read a single ToS in my life, but I still have the common sense to extrapolate more or less what the service provider would like from me in exchange for the use of their service. Then again, common sense isn't exactly too common these days I guess.
To be honest, most people don't read it. The bigger problem is when people have not even the slightest idea what's in there.
To draw an analogy in the context of law (which people should in principle be equally aware of): It's one thing to say "I don't know the exact laws on what counts as tax evasion", it's quite another to say "Wait, murder is illegal? Since when?" (Ignorance still doesn't protect from punishment, of course)
It's more to do with people not reading manuals and most terms of use and contracts besides official ones like for work/visa/etc in general. I'm guilty of that too.
I didn't read the ToS rules until I got to lvl 30
I [sg-lux] it!
Sadly you can blame most of the streamers. Im sure they havent read it, but most people especially nowadays got word of the game because of X-Streamers playing it and raging about in their chat. Because of that and them not getting ban (at the time) means to the new players watching that you cannot get ban.
