How are these people not getting banned or at least matched with other bad players

Players seem to think it's perfectly fine to go die as many times as the like and then say "I was just having a bad game".

You ask them to ward, they harass you. You ask them not to feed, they insult you and say that YOU are the one being toxic. You ask them to stay grouped, the charge up a lane without wards and get one-shot by the shaco abusing the broken items that Riot can't balance like .

After the game you report them and of course.... nothing happens, because they are allowed to "have a bad game". In other words, they are not required to paly defensively and farm, it's perfectly fine to keep charging up an unwarded lane and feeding.

Oh but god forbid that you start criticising these feeders in any way shape or form, then YOU are getting reported and definitely banned for verbal abuse and harassment.

It’s not against the rules to be shit at this game. You don’t seem to believe that it was their intention to throw the game, so there’s nothing to be done by Riot other than continue to decrease their MMR until they’re matched against similar players.

I seem to get people like the author of this topic in every game playing Normal draft. The "Team Captain" that barks orders, starts telling you not to feed when you're 0-2 after ten minutes because you're either playing particularly bad, or your opponent is a smurf.

The "Team captain" that wards areas beneficial to himself, and wants you to ward somewhere beneficial for him as well.

They tell you to "stay grouped" because they're the self appointed Team Captain, and expect you to tank for them while they hang out at the back of the group waiting for the kill.

They have no issue taking your monsters as a jungler or your minions to push a wave into tower, but start pinging you incessantly if you do the same.

This is the guy I automatically mute, both chat and pings.

The "Team Captain" random is the most obnoxious, toxic player this game has ever seen.

i assume you are a smurf since you already complain about a broken item at a low level

and if you think of it you are not matched with other smurfs but you are matched with new bies and newbies friends who are not meant to be good in most cases and should not be banned because they played badly (or worst for playing badly in blind pick)

That's because playing poorly isn't against the rules, but flaming is. If you can't control yourself when you're placed in a team with bad players, then you should play a single-player game, or maybe one of the other mobas.

It's funny how often people come in here criticising the game, complaining about the punishment system, whinging about their teammates... and yet they're still here instead of playing something else.
