Leaverbuster also applies to people who intentionally leave the game (via disconnect button or task manager-ing the game), but it just looks like league glitched out and you should probably contact support [sg-ahri-2]

You got punished because you queued with him. The only reason this is done is to disincentivise people "taking one for their duo".
