Permabanned Incorrectly for 3rd Party Software

So today i tried to log into my account and much to my surprise i have been banned permanently for "use of malicious 3rd party programs or modifications to your League of Legends client." This ban is completely unjustified as i have never used any 3rd party programs or messed around with the games files or client. I also am the only one to ever access the account and have never used a boosting service that may have used 3rd party software on the account. The ban completely dumbfounds me and is 100% a mistake. I have spent so much time and money on that account only to have it taken away in a mistake.

I made a support ticket explaining the situation but have yet to receive a response. I also have noticed several other players seem to be dealing with the same issue as me. It seems Riot has banned quite a few accounts incorrectly for 3rd party program use in their latest ban wave. If anyone has any suggestions for what i should do to get my account back please let me know. This is bullshit.

Edit 1: Just got a seemingly automated response from Riot saying this. "Our system has accurate evidence that your account was in violation of our Terms of Use due to the usage of scripts, hacks, exploits or unauthorized third-party programs in the game. After I double checked your account, it doesn't look like this was a mistake.

For security purposes on our investigative methods, I will not be sharing more detailed evidence or specific details. We will not be lifting the ban on this account under any circumstances. "

I am absolutely crushed. As i said before, I have never, NEVER, used any 3rd party software or messed with the client. This is 100% a mistake and now it seems my account is gone. I have no idea what do, possibly pursue legal action? Let me know if anyone knows what to do.

Yeah actually, it's not uncommon for clauses on contracts to be considered abusive and rendered null upon trial.

True a contract is only good if it has legal backing, however, the account and all items on it are Riot's. This would not be successful and depending on the state it was filed in, could likely harm OP if he were to pursue legal action.

If you can prove negligence then it doesn't matter what you signed or agreed upon, the courts can still rule in your favor. Sadly proving negligence online is a lot harder than proving something happened irl. On a side note......its not like riot is going to announce lawsuits that they have lost or settled lol.

They dont need to announce anything, they are all a matter of public record. But there arent any, because the ToS will defeat any lawyer you can hire. The filing fees alone are probably higher than the "value" of most players accounts.

When you get an automated response you just have to respond to that. The automated message is mostly to help clear things, but if you still have questions all you have to do is respond to the auto-message and you should get a real Rioter.

Sending a new ticket will just set it as exactly that: a new ticket and will be treated that way, with a standard form letter response.

Responding the the email will keep your current ticket open. Staying polite with your own responses will also get you farther with your inquiries.

I opened a ticket to tell them i never used any kind of hack's in my life...! [slayer-jinx-unamused] So i got this answer without any kind of prove..and just told me something that i already know ----->"Your account has been permanently suspended following the use of scripts, hacks, exploits or unauthorized third-party programs in League of Legends. What legal action would you pursue? In order to file a lawsuit you need to have damages. So, what are your damages? You paid for content for which you received access to, you agreed that "at any time, for any reason" Riot games may terminate your account.

You'd have no case, sorry.

To add to that, Riot completely stops working with you if you threaten legal action, only working with your lawyer taking to their lawyer from then on.

Some people have been seeing 3rd party bans overruled lately, just be patient and keep replying.

If you people were playing Xerath and even in the slightest attempted to or actually did replicate the current game breaking exploit with his Q, that would have flagged and banned you. While scripters and other programs are the main culprit for making this exploit happen, it is achievable without the scripts, but it would still net you the same punishment.

So, that said, how many of you played Xerath before your bans?
