Why Is Saying Anything Considered Toxic?

I get it, nobody wants to get shit talked. But why is it that saying something like "play safe", "why are you pushing alone", "wait for us to get there before engaging" automatically gets labeled as toxic? I am not saying i have not had moments where my emotions flared, but by and large only after getting attacked by multiple people just for saying anything remotely critical of someone. Just because I am playing a normal game is it wrong to want to win? Or is this some grand scheme to force me to always queue with people who can actually take some feedback without getting up in arms?

People just get butthurt way too easily. Regardless of it being ranked or not, for a lot of people, if they can take it in a way that is offensive to them, they somehow always find a way to.

I just had a fiddlesticks dc after 3 minutes because my summoner name is anti teemo and he's a teemo main. That's what he told me. I guess anything can set you off in LoL.

I have been reported for literally saying "gl and hf" at start of a match and nothing else.

Community is just bad. they dont need a reason to do what they do.

Actually, according to the summoners code which riot constant points to as if its the 10 commandments, saying those things to your teammates is considered constructive feedback. However NOTHING in the summoners code matters because what is deemed as "toxic" is what the player themselves deem as toxic. If the majority of players say "spamming your mastery lvl 7 is toxic" and enough people report you for spamming that mastery every game and mentions it in the report log then you will get punished.

Biggest example being the 1mil mastery singed player. What he was doing was not against the summoners code in anyway, however players didn't like it so he got permed. Its a classic example of why you should NEVER let the player base dictate anything in a multiplayer game like this, its not healthy because players do not know any better. Its like letting your group of 5 year old children dictate the rules and which one of there other siblings should or should not get punished.

This reasoning is also prob one of the reasons the tribunal is still on "hiatus", but even without the tribunal players still have dictatorship on what they deem as "toxic".
