If i start recording my games, can i submit them as proof of things like AFK or intentional feeding? Sounds pretty fair.

yes, but, nobody is going to watch them, unless you split them into 5-15 second chunks of time, I doubt riot support would watch them.
A good rule of thumb when dealing with riot support, is pretend that you are talking to your grandmother who does not play league.
You can, best thing to do is to give the time stamps for any relevant portion to Riot Support.
