Toxic player that will ban your pick in lobby!!

So i was in queue and like always i got into a lobby, our jungler wanted to switch with mid but the mid said no. The jungler then proceeded to BAN our mid's pick like no big deal and then our mid dodged. Unluckily i ended up yet again with him in another lobby and i let everyone in the lobby know how rude he was and then he banned MY PICK. If you EVER see this person in a lobby please dodge immediately. I know this might not seem like such a big issue but i mean like c'mon, do you wanna deal with someone that's gonna ban your pick? Here's their profile <removed by moderation> Now obviously it seems like they're a Fizz main that will go out of their way to ban your champion if they don't get the role they wanted or if they don't like you. Such a scumbag.

you're allowed to pick and ban whatever you want if it happen to be a champion you wanted to play, play something similar otherwise leave the match and go queue into flex where it has less chance to happen.

I wholeheartedly agree, and I already have my own methods of dealing with this so it's not a problem. But the fact remains, some people ban pick hovers out of spite.

Just because playing a different champion is a way around that problem, doesn't prevent the shitty experience of having someone take something away from you (that you wanted to play) not for gameplay reasons, but for personal reasons.

Dude if you didn't want to put the effort into defending your suggestion then why did you comment in the first place?

At least give the OP advice that fits their situation and needs, instead of just telling them to 'walk it off' and 'toughen up.' That kind of advice is low effort and unhelpful.

That sucks, you shouldn't have had to experience that.
Revealing an account here on the boards is considered naming and shaming, and it can lead to witch hunts. This is against the rules, because it is possible to frame someone for things which they did not do - among other reasons.
If you want to report the player then please report them after your game or report them through a support ticket, Riot can manually review them to see if there is evidence of them doing this consistently.
If you want to avoid having your hovers banned you could always try doing what I do. I hover something similar to my intended pick without actually hovering that pick, then I just switch and lock in my actual intended pick when it's my turn. That way if somebody wants to ban my hover they still didn't get to ban my main, and I can rest assured that if they banned the champ I wanted to play it's because they genuinely don't want the champ in the game instead of some silly personal reasons. Plus my teammates can see what kind of mid-laner I'm gonna play in case they want to ban something that type of champion is weak to. For example, if I plan to play Xerath, I might hover Lux, Ziggs, or Jhin, and viceversa, could hover Xerath in place of any of those.

I promise it ain't fake, if i had the time i would've recorded it to show proof. If you ever manage to get into a lobby with him you will know how real the toxicity in them is.

I understand that, but they can't make an exception to the rule just for you, that creates precedent for others to do the same, and if those others are dishonest unlike you then chaos would ensue.

I'm not saying i should be treated with a certain rule like it doesn't apply to me but seriously why would ANYONE lie about a toxic experience they had? I know i wouldn't.

It's pretty simple really, someone is pissed at their teammate, they want that teammate to suffer, so they lie about what that teammate did and publish it to the internet so that someone will start a witch hunt. Crowd-shaming is a powerful force for evil.

There is no rule against banning someone's pick. You can ban whomever you like under any circumstances and cannot be punished for that alone.

I can understand you're upset about our rules but they are made and maintained for the reason of keeping the boards a safe place for anyone.

If you really feel like saying a name open up a Support Ticket with your complaint, but the boards are not the place to point fingers.

When someone dodges because of a troll, you immediately decline the next game! Exit out, wait 1 minute, and then queue up again. Also, not wise to announce that someone is a troll. Idk what you expected to happen after saying that.
