Recently got a 9 game chat restriction:

The punishment I got for my actions was completely just. After looking at the logs I can see just how negative and mean I was being to others. During the 9 games that I played with the restriction, I was not really tempted to flame at all, I found that the limited amount of messages that I was allowed to send made me not focus on the negative in the game and instead put my focus of the messages that I sent were game related or positive. I can truly say that the punishment did work and I am still working on trying to not be toxic. Before the ban I would never really mute anyone and just sort of let the flame flow. Now I make a conscious effort to try and mute players and focus on being positive. Thank you for the restriction, as I feel it truly did help me as a player and person.

Question: Is the restriction for season rewards permanent? Thank you.

If it was just a chat restriction your ranked rewards probably aren't in jeopardy. They haven't announced the exact requirements yet but for the last 2 years you had to be currently chat restricted when the season ended or 14 day banned within 3 months of the end of the season to lose your rewards.

Hextech rewards are regained just by playing and not getting valid reports. It is variable based on your behavior. I have seen some people say they earned them back in like 10 and others in like 40-50.

Back to your question - this depends on the time you get punished and severity of your wrong doings.

Since you got in now, there are still 3 months left for the season (more or less) and if it was just 9 games chat ban, I would guess you'll get your ranked rewards, unless you get into more trouble.
