Because this a teen game and you should be treated like a teen. If I say Kill Yourself it's pretty much implied that I hate you. But if this was a kid game that would be different, but it's not so why do people get banned for that not me. Your technically not ruining that game for anyone but yourself if you be toxic. You actually affect game play if u int or afk. Those trype of people should be banned a lot, but instead u focus on mean words that hurt. U added a mute for a reason use it.

I don't know about that. Having a jackass in chat can ruin my enjoyment of a game.

So no, you're certainly not the only one who thinks "you should only get punished if you feed or afk", but Riot has taken a stance that feeding, afk'ing, and poor behavior are all punishable and don't belong in the game.

I'm 26 and having a jerky, telling people to kill themselves and being verbally abusive to myself or anyone on my team does ruin that game for me. People like that deserve to be punished and possibly banned if they can't learn. You want everyone to have good sportsmanship. Do you see football players or soccer players telling their teammates to kill themselves or any of the awful things people say to each other on League?

There is ABSOLUTELY NO reason to talk to someone like that and it shouldn't be tolerated.
