So this is only to those people who actually play this game to try to be competitive:

I'm truly wondering if anyone in this game has the desire to be a better player. Sure outside of midlane I'm prolly mediocre or trash. But two years ago on my old account that is no longer with us, RIP, I hit D5 as a Leblanc one trick. Fast forward two years and new account. Now whenever I try to make calls, or spam ping 18 red pings to tell someone they are going to die if they don't back up, or tell someone they could have had a double kill or got out safely if they did such and such... the unanimous response that I get from these Bronze, Silver, and Gold players so far is "stfu."

This response, or the response of not listening to 18 pings shows me that they don't want to win, they don't want to improve, and they are liberal baby pampered kids whose mommy and daddy told them that they are perfect and never did anything wrong. Therefore, I will int your game if you continue to come at me with these kind of tones.

How do you avoid the urge to int these kind of people and keep them exactly where they belong, hard stuck?

Or they thought that 18 pings was annoying and started tuning you out. Or muted your pings.

How do you avoid the urge to int these kind of people and keep them exactly where they belong, hard stuck?

By realizing it's worthless to throw a tantrum just because someone didn't listen to a ping. If you throw the game for such petty reasons then it's you that deserves to be hard stuck.

they are liberal baby pampered kids whose mommy and daddy told them that they are perfect and never did anything wrong.

Well, there's your problem. You are creating your own enemy here. Literally.

Even if your really believed their behaviour necessarily implies they are "baby pampered kids whose mommy and daddy told them that they are perfect and never did anything wrong", it's very obvious that you have absolutely, positively, I cannot stress this enough NO FUCKING WAY to determine their political ideology.

You are creating the image of that person yourself, deliberately choosing something that you hate. So the problem isn't really so much your urge to int, as much as it is your urge to hate, demonize, and generally blow the issue out of proportion.

And that, in all honesty, points to a problem that is rooted much, much deeper than just your attitude and behaviour in a video game.

If you want to be a better player, you should focus on your mistakes. You can fix those. You can't fix your opponents' or teammates' mistakes.

They don't know you, they don't think your solutions work and they think that you are complaining a lot. You are not their teacher, you are in their game, on their rating with no reason for them to consider you any better.

Please, int. Keep yourself exactly where you belong, since you apparently cant get out of that region yourself.

Sounds like they are dismissive of you because you are a tilted asshole, not because of any validity. If you want to "punish" people for not deferring to your bloated ego, they are going to deal with that by being as contrary as possible.

A) I avoid the urge to int by realizing I'm not a shitty person. B) You aren't entitled to people listening to your calls. If you spam ping, you are probably being counterproductive as it will lead to more ping mutes than normal. How many pings will they see when you spam if they muted your pings? (Hint: It's 0). C) People not listening to you does not equate to them not wanting to improve. It is foolish and self-centered to believe that.

I didnt know someone can be this frail of "stfu" to want to int from that.. Yikes

I don't have desire to be a better player. Not in this game at least.

Carry and 1v9 if that fails, just accept that your team is hardstuck and beyond your help and just let the game end. Also try duoing, a lot easier to get these shitters to do what you want when you have two people automatically following your calls and not just one. Some of these players are simply unintelligent. They have the same rank I had in my first season playing, when they've been playing for 5 seasons. Just keep in mind that your average human has below average intelligence. It's like getting mad at a dog for not understanding human speech. They can't help it.

It's actually hilarious getting comments from all these people who basically only play URF and ARAM and TFT... then they want to talk like they know something about rank when they've never been higher than Gold 3 max.

Can you even ping 18 times? It just lets me do it like 5 times or so at most?! [sg-lux-2]

OP, I'll tell you how to get people to listen to you. You tell them straight up (in the lobby) that you like to lead. And if people don't listen to your calls then you get tilted. And once you get tilted then things are probably not going to work out.

So the result is :-

  • They either dodge the game.

  • Get into the game and ignore you.

  • Or get into the game and mostly listen to your calls.

If they don't listen to your calls and you get tilted, end up losing - then tell them that they tilted you. That's it. It doesn't matter beyond that, right?! No one wins every game. SIMPLE as that. [sg-ezreal]

Good luck!

Ps : Don't int anyone OP. Wasn't your motive to win in the first place? If you can't handle it, cuss at them IRL. Get off the comp. for a short 2-3 minute break, get some water. Flex some muscles! Surf through some Orn. Eat some chips! Freshen up and think that its a new game, you're just filling up for someone else. That should help you avoid inting to some extent. [vlad-salute]
