Time to change "fill" slot into perhaps something more viable.

Recently with each level up I've been receiving some pretty high end champion shards (the ones that run for at least 1000 BE DE). So I've been starting to buy champs of each lane roles. So, now after some practice and at least 2-3 champs in each lane, I figured I should do fill since I can literally play anywhere without an issue! But... Fill still constantly throws you into support. Not that I have an issue with support, but it'd be nice to be placed somewhere else without having to dedicate certainty to 2 roles. So, may I suggest a change to either the fill role or something else?

Perhaps fill role could allow you to select at least 3-4 roles you are willing to play?

If you "fill" you'll end up support more often than not it's normal since most people don't queue for support. I'd suggest you to play support and then queue for two other roles with the autofill protection to play a little bit of everything.

Might as well make it so you can pick all 5 roles!!!!!! No. Fill is fine. Don't like getting auto filled? try not spamming the same roles over and over.

just use a random role generator.

Well thanks for your feed back! I just thought it'd be neat to have a truly "random" choice in ranked. Thought it'd be fun ^.^

And that's not the case sparkling, it'd just be nice if fill didn't ALWAYS result in Support, that's all :)

While I definitely like the idea of "fill" not always being a support role (despite maining support), this discussion is not really suited to the Player Behavior section of the Boards. Here we're suppose to talk about things like in game violations and Riot's player behavior systems. If we want to chat about the "fill" option when matchmaking, the better section would be Gameplay. I'm going to go ahead and lock this thread, but feel free to recreate it over in Gameplay. You have my support for fixing "fill" (no support pun intended).
