Adult League vs Kids League - What do you think?

What do you think of this idea:

An Adult League and a Kids League

You can play in either league regardless of your actual age. It's not actually about how old you are and more about separating more serious players.

The Adults League is more serious. Toxic players, queue dodgers and AFKers are dealt with way more strictly with way harsher penalties. eg. 1 hour wait for queue dodge, 24 hour ban for AFK.

The Kid's League is more lenient. It basicially stays the same as it is now.

If you get banned from the Adults for 24 hours you can still go play in the kids league.

I think something like this could make more serious players happier that they get less AFKers who had to go do their homework etc, and also give some leeway to people playing in the kids league who don't care as much about all the bureacratic rules and want to be more free to mess around.

I know they already have Ranked and Normals but, I think people who play in both know that there's still a problem with AFKers etc.

Might be a stupid idea, but what do you think?

Ranked queue is already supposed to do this.

If you think you have something to go do, or don't have upmost certainty that you'll be able to play for up to an hour... don't start a match. At the very least, play unranked.

The problem is just not solvable by making a system around it. It's just plain human error.

I hear what you're saying and, I disagree. Making separate leagues won't magically solve the issues that the game has currently; if anything it will just make them worse or add even more issues than there were before. There's also no need or reason to have a "more lenient zone" or a "more strict zone"-if someone acts up then they should be held accountable for their actions both good and bad. Besides, we already have people who claim that they're adults acting like little kids because they didn't get their way-having separate queues and/or leagues won't change that.

So yeah, while I understand what you're saying the way things are right now are just fine if you ask me. It's not perfect of course, but there's no need to add separate leagues with separate rules.

From my experience its the "adults" that tend to be less serious and the ... younger audience that ends up being serious.

Toxicity should not even punished in your concept.

Only intentional feeders, afkers and troll pickers. Everything is kid stuff. So basically you have it backwards.

Better to make it a freemium service that you have to pay to get in, so it holds value to the players who can potentially lose it.

Sarcasm aside, having a walled garden of what one person perceives to be "good" and "bad" only serves to exacerbate the problem. Separating it by age is just silly.
