Promotion series

Just a question, I was in my promos and I loose my first game second game champ. Select I dodged because someone was trolling and it takes me out of my promos, I understand the 5 minute wait time and I'm happy for repercussions of dodging a game but I feel a ranked promo series for most people is important and a team that isn't going to aid you in that game you don't want to play with I think taking you out of promo is harsh, as I said punishment for afk or dodging is totally balanced and fair but I don't feel that scenario is? There must be a solid reason to take you out of a promo series when a game is inevitably a loss with a troll on your team?
