More Harsh AFK Punishments

When is Riot going to get on the level of most other competitive platforms and actually implement AFK penalties? It is ridiculous the number of AFKs or rage quits I encounter, on a daily basis, and know nothing is being done to combat it. Stop holding these kids hands and actually punish them for ruining the experience for others.

Take CSGO for example. One of the harshest penalty systems I have seen for leaving a ranked game, hence why it rarely ever happens. Time to wake up and take this community back. It is falling in to the gutter and it seems Riot is more interested in new skins/champs instead of fixing the community they already have.

We all know the real problem is a reliance on faulty networks, or that unexpected things happen in real life. Punishing everyone harshly, as if every /afk is intentional, is bad business.

You want to help by trying to improve what is currently in the system - a punishment mechanism. What is really needed is some alternative thinking that might even change the way the game is designed, so that any /afk has an acceptable solution for players that might be otherwise disaffected.

That's interesting. This was one of the few areas where riot has done a really good job I thought. What rank are you?

I used to have these types of trolls all the time as well, but it's been a long time, probably at least half a year, since I've seen a full game AFK.

Typically these days the "AFK" is still there, and just moves the mouse every so often so as not to get account auto leaver bustered.

Personally, I think if you have a match history containing more than two ranked 0/0/0 games per 100 that's an auto warning, and if you get a third u should be autobanned. If you're internet provider was down, you would need to provide written proof of outage.
