I just got banned for engaging in retaliatory rhetoric with someone who started a verbal confrontation. I only have an issue if I'm the only one who got banned and they didn't because the chat log shows the entire correspondence and what they said as well. I feel that Riot doesn't do enough to combat intentional feeding, AFKing, or other troll behavior during games. I spend money to enjoy this game so I take it much more seriously than most things in life especially things I do for "free", and if someone intentionally tries to ruin that experience for me then yes I will say something to them, and it's probably going to be profanity laced at that. I'm not talking about "X" player who is tilted and having a bad game, I'm talking about the person who admits that they are intentionally following you around and Bard ulting you the whole game, or the Evelyn player who runs into the enemy base and intentionally dies 12 times on some Tyler1 bs. Outside of racist or otherwise equally inflammatory things I feel that people who intentionally do things to ruin peoples game experience deserve whatever people say to them. I only have an issue being banned if I am the only one who faces discipline because justice that isn't fair and equal isn't justice.
