It seems that the ban system needs to change for the better.

I don't know if this is a trend but it seems there's quite a lot of afk lately. I feel the need to write this and see if people agree. AFK should be instantly banned. However, they can appeal with a good reason. Now the person that will judge these cases should be way more lenient toward afk ban than actually toxicity ban. What i'm trying to establish here is that people will start taking afk in rank more seriously. I played a couple of game where i had an afk and we struggled clinging to hope only to lose after 35minute. This isn't pleasant for anyone on the receiving end. So first ban by afk will pretty much guarantee an unban. However if said user exceed 3times within 1month, you will be perma banned. Your 3chances reset after every 1st of the month. So you have a leeway of 3games in total to go afk and ruin other people's fun. It also allows people to learn how to prioritize shit. Don't start a game if youre going to go eat in 10minute or some other manners. League is a leisure activity and thus it should be played as one. So if you dont have time, dont start a game and ruin your teammate in rank. (this strictly applies in rank)

How would the appeal process work?

What would stop someone from intentionally disconnecting then appealing that their internet went out or their computer crashed? How does Riot confirm that there was some sort of real life event that pulled the player away from the computer such as pet knocked something over or got into something they shouldn't?

What would stop Riot from getting flooded by appeals that they couldn't realistically handle on an individual basis?
