Bans are too harsh, we need a better system.

Instead of permanently banning toxic players, wouldn't it be more genuine to take away their chatting privileges for an entire season? Some of these people invested time and money on their accounts despite their behavior they are people too. We're talking about hundreds of dollars on skins and champions that they will lose forever due to a bad day. I've seen friends go through a depression because of losing something they've worked on for years all because they had a bad day. Let's face it this offense tribunal system is not perfect by any means and is frankly biased if you get reported by a group of friends out of spite.

They were already given chat restrictions & 14 days suspensions as their 2nd chance. It's their fault that they refuse to change their behavior overtime.

You mean the system we had before, where people kept getting hundreds or thousands of games of chat restrictions and didn't change at all? I think the boat has sailed on that one, it didn't work.

They deserve to lose the account they've spent hundreds of dollars on. Riot has every right to ban someone from the game who's violating rules repeatedly. Nobody just gets straight up banned from the game. They got at least one warning to quit their toxic behavior or they would lose their account and they failed to stop being toxic. It's not a "bad day" it's a series of constant verbal abuse and other extremely negative behaviors.

Riot looked into it. Most people showed other toxic behaviors without chat.

A bad day never gets you banned unless you make threats of personal violence. An ongoing pattern of bad days gets you punished and eventually banned for good. If people cared so much to invest money in the game, then how can they not respect the game enough to be decent human beings?

No. They got themselves into that situation, and they dug their own grave.

Well, they should have been more careful. Again, they got themselves into that situation. The only way you even get a permanent ban is through either: A - Multiple warnings (lower-class punishments). or B - Extremely horrible behavior for an instant permanent ban.

So they deserve to lose it all.

If anything the punishments should be more strict.
