Hostage situation in champ select

Hello summoners, I'd like to talk about a issue that happened few minutes ago in a draft game.

A member of our team held us hostage in champion selection. He apparently got autofilled and decided to took the role of jungler without anyone consentment. There is nothing we could do to stop him from taking my role and despite no one else in the lobby agreeing with him he locked Lee Sin and started taking my camps, stealing the red away from me. I can't stand that, and my only way of acting up is too report him at the end, which will probably do absolutely nothing since it seems being aggressive in chat is more toxic than actually trolling like he is doing right now. I'm approximately sure it's not his first nor last time doing this, yet he continues because he is not getting any punishement.

As a result I went afk to protest against that kind of behavior and I'm writing this post in order to have a reaction from Riot. I'm talking about a way of dealing with players like him, I don't want an answer to tell me that I should report him which has been proved to be useless since he is doing that for probably a while and continues.

Here are screen shots of the champion selection :

nb : the red dots are here to mark the player that took jungle.

The game ended after approximately 17 minutes, we lost.

Obviously you can tell I'm beyond tilted right now but I try to remain as calm as possible and that's why I left the game, I prefered to go afk to protest against that kind of behavior than actually staying in game and be toxic against him, be it deserved or not.

I hope this particular event will eventually lead to a safer and more fair system in champion selection, enabling us players to deal with people like him.

submit a ticket with this. The boards arent going to help you dawg. I think at least 99% of players hate people like this and theres not much Riot can do aside from allowing voting for dodges but that opens up a can of worms. It would enable: voting to dodge if the enemy has a better comp voting to dodge if a player checks on op.gg and sees someone on a loss streak voting to dodge from premades who didnt get what they wanted. This situation you faced sucks but its not like theres a magic fix for it. Submit a ticket and he will most likely be punished. They are enforcing the role selection from champ select.

I don't know if you are aware, but Support has a separate login from the main site. So even if you are logged in here, you'll have to log in again there.

Otherwise, I'll check if I can get onto the Support page once I get on my computer.

There is an INCREDIBLY easy solution to this. Riot needs to stop putting people in fill spot UNLESS they actually que up for that. If I que as jung/top and I get another role like support I can guarantee you I won't be playing that game and/or will be dodging. This is beyond stupid. You give people what they que for (even if the que times are longer) then it will stop this 100% guaranteed. Simple as that.

You have to log in to the support site separately. It's not the same as the forums. You still use the same login credentials though.

Make sure you don't have pop up blockers and script blockers enabled for the support site.

I mean dudes wrong, shouldn't do that. he should have dodged or played support. hell supports not even a hard role to play.

On the other hand it's Draft. it means nothing you gain nothing from it besides playing experience just shrug your shoulders and play support. Or dodge, even though you "shouldn't" have to dodge. your getting teamed up with 4 random people it could be worse, and would be a great game to brush up on supportness.

Your also likely more wrong for afking that game imo.
