Really Riot? A 14 day suspension for this?

Queued up with four friends for one last normal of the night before I got off for the night. Game is going decent, but our mid laner does not seem to be having a good time. He would get caught out multiple times, despite our telling him to play safe and not to worry. This person must have had an off night, because they decided to start flaming us in team chat, refusing to communicate, telling the enemy team where we were (i.e baron, dragon). Then immediately went to all chat claiming we were harassing him, and requesting the enemy team to report us. Now, I would LOVE to avoid false reports, but apparently telling the enemy team that "this moron is trying to play the victim but is clearly feeding and playing against us" is a bannable offense. Now, I almost ALWAYS keep my language clean, and stick to playing rather than typing. There is one game on my chat log where I asked the other team to ignore/ report the toxic person on our team who is suggesting he is being harassed and is "accidentally making calls in all chat" multiple times mind you. Really? Are you joking me? I have met and played with EXTREMELY toxic people in my time. I will also admit, I have had this account since at least season 1. I was not always the most tame, but obviously that was years ago. If there is some type of flagging on my account that suspends me for even the most miniscule number of reports, I would prefer to know of a way to restore this, without having to make a new account. This happened within less than an hour of playing the game in said email. If there is a request to see the email, I will provide. I would like to see how the community sees my words. Things such as this make it so much harder for me to have fun with my friends, while attempting to get better at the game as a whole.

A few things from chat were directed towards the four real-life friends I had in game with me. Not the kindest of things, but a 14 day ban worth for a troll who was trying to get all of us reported. Which I'm without a doubt sure he did report us all.

I looked at the first line of your chat log and stopped.

Riot works on the "if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all" policy. You were made aware of this in the agreement you agreed to before being allowed to play after each patch. Sorry, but they have every right to punish you for not keeping your mouth shut when you said you would.

You were being extremely negative and toxic lol imagine if all players were acting this way saying these kinds of things, some of the things you said can be taken as hurtful talking about there mother saying lack of brain cells and your trash.. You got what you deserved just come back in 2 weeks and don't act like that lol be positive if you have something negative to say don't type it just focus on the game and be part of the team.

Now, i looked at match history and this is what i saw:

Syndra- proper build, 200 CS, clean match history no display of trolling anywhere. She did have negative score, but there is nothing wrong with playing bad.

Now what i personally think happened, is of course, classic premade buillshit that happens to all of us at some point. 4 of you ganged up on her for playing bad, started flaming and blaming her. Which can be seen from those lines "4+ report, thats 14 days ban for you", implying just because u are 4 and he is 1, poor guy is getting banned. Also we can see your chat logs, true we cant see Syndras, but we cant see your friends chatlogs either. I am sure that Syndra got bombarded with flaming from 4 players. Also considering that u had chat restrictions before, it means u have history of toxicity.

Now i cant know this , but my opinion (which i know, you dont care about) is : Syndra did nothing wrong except playing bad, you and your premade started flaming and blaming her, telling enemy team to report her. Probably enemy team saw how toxic towards Syndra u guys are and reported u as well. So this ban is probably deserved. And be careful, next one is permanent.
