Back when I was "toxic" I reformed myself by insulting people, because being actually nice lead to more punishments.

Just don't call people a bundle of sticks and you're fine.

I'm perfectly "k" and I'm fully serious on this matter.

Unless you call people fa***ts or ni***rs it's really really hard to get punished.

And yes, I meant it when I said "being nice lead to more punishments".

Back when Lyte was around and chat restrictions could grow seemingly infinitely I may or may not have been toxic, but when I purposely been nice aka saying only positive things, encouraging my teammates in a polite manner and whatnot for 160 games straight (one full chat restriction) I got rewarded with a chat restriction of ~600 games.

I said "fuck it" and went back to being "toxic".

The same 'toxicity' that got me restricted in the first place, that was of unknown definition as I've been playing with my real life friends whom were never punished and were saying basically the same things in the chat as I did.

After that ~600 restriction ended it ceased completely and I haven't been restricted since.

So clearly I "reformed" my "toxicity" with "toxicity", not with kindness.

Mate, I've reported people just on the basis of excessive swearing and they still get punished for it, regardless of what words they use.

If you're playing with a team of friends, they won't give a damn as much as 'randos' will, if all your friends curse like sailors every game, more power to them, but you aren't getting punished for the reports you aren't getting because of it.

It doesn't matter WHAT you say when you have a team of friends, or really openly accepting teammates, but you probably will get reported by people who just dislike it.
