So that tribunal thing....

Getting pretty sick of bronze life where every game a kid is calling someone some sort of slur but not quite being old enough to spell it right, or annie mid decides to feed because top ekko took his champ.....and the worst part is whenever you let them know youll be reporting them the comeback is always the same. "tribunal isnt banning anyone right now so good luck" and then im stuck in queues with them for 3 or 4 games because i dont want to dodge and lose lp.....this is getting ridiculous. Even my friends have been laughing about how theyve just been outright assholes on the rift and not one of them have received any form of punishment....the LoL experience just isnt as fun as it used to be, its now the new CoD...just a new form of media for teenagers to log on to and talk crap just to vent about their lives....can something please be done.

Both of these scenarios are pretty heavily discouraged and very reportable, and it really isn't something people should be getting away with for very long.

whenever you let them know youll be reporting

Bit unrelated, but telling people they are reported doesn't accomplish anything and is actually a pretty common pair with other forms of toxicity. I'm not saying you are toxic or anything, it's just that saying "reported" can come across as really negative in certain situations.

tribunal isnt banning anyone right now so good luck

Overall, if someone says this it shows two things:

  • Proof of guilt/likely history thereof
  • Blatant ignorance of how the current systems work

People that feed intentionally will get addressed eventually, it's just not quite as instant as verbal abuse issues yet because the systems in place are newer and the behavior is harder to detect.

im stuck in queues with them for 3 or 4 games because i dont want to dodge and lose lp

Workaround, wait for ~5 minutes after that game ends before queuing up again.

Assuming everyone is a kid? Come on.

And yes, they are still handing out bans, so enjoy playing with your friends while it lasts.

Riot is still handing out bans, and trust me, they are far more strict than the Tribunal ever was. As long as you report the players being jerks then they'll get banned in due time. I have a feeling that your "friends" have already been banned before and are lying about not receiving any form of punishment (some people will do that). Again, as long as you're reporting the troublemakers and not causing any trouble yourself then the toxic players will indeed be punished by Riot.
