Well, today I raged like never before. I've never had such a toxic and rude team. Yes, in my part I lost my cool & didn't act accordingly. Anyway, I received a 10 game chat restriction which is already gone, but now I can't receive rewards? I just want to know how long will this last or is it permanent? I apologize to riot & to the league community for my rude behavior. This will never happen again. Thanks for your time.
the last time i got a chat restriction i literally got hextech back the next game, other times it's taken as many as 30 games post chatban, im guessing it has something to do with what you were punished for.
That depends on you and your behaviour in games. The restriction is dependent on you playing games and demonstrating that you are not acting in the way that got you the chat restriction anymore.
What the other guy is writing is less than accurate. It is not time based. You don't just "wait it out" for three months and the status is normal; that's one of those ideas the boards comes up with and repeats to itself. It may be longer or It may not be. IT can take longer than that for some player's eligibility to be restored if the players do not act better.

thats pretty lucky. years ago i fed top 2 kills and the duo + other were shit talking me so hard after i was telling them 'sorry' over and over. i kept chat on so i could communicate but after my next death to jungle gank they all 3 went crazy... i mean afking under their tower while typing so much shit talk crazy. so i left the game and got a 3 month ban from being able to even login.
