Lord have mercy... 20 minute wait time for 5 games? Riot how does the system work??

20 minute low priority que? Again? Riot... I have lag sometimes, I have to reset my computer from time to time... if 1 out of 20 games I have to disconnect for a few minutes in order to regain stability than I shouldn't be punished relentlessly for five 20 minute slow priority que's. Look, this is the 3rd or 4th time I've had gotten hit with this, how is the system set up? At least give me the exact system so I can do my personal best to prevent this from happening... I'd consider playing out a 40 minute match with 300 ms if I knew that after 40 games straight my account would be lowered down to normal status or whatever a person is when they get a 5 minute penalty. But without knowing the system, I can only assume that it's in my best interest to take 5 minutes resetting my modem and cpu so i can have 30 ms again and actually be able to help my team rather than getting aggrevated with extreme lag. I live less then 50 miles from chicago and have Comcast, my normal ping is 12 and download speed is 25 mbps. It's windy out here, and cold, so connections have been a little rough occassionally. BUt yeah, this is bullshit.

1 in 20 is a lot of games you're lagging out of. And this is the third of fourth penalty at the 20 min level? I hate to break it to you, but making sure your equipment and connection can handle League is your responsibility. If you're resetting your modem that often (and that fixes the problem), you might want to look at getting a new one.

As far as weather, are the lines above or below ground? If they are below, then wind and cold should not have as bad an effect.

Do you use wired or wifi between your computer and modem? If wifi, there may be interference from other sources, especially if you live in an apartment or have relatively close neighbors.

Is there a certain time you tend to lag out more than? I tend to run into lag spikes around midnight (local time) and I can't play if someone is watching Netflix. So I avoid playing around then or if there are other people at home. Or I'll start a custom and work on last hitting or figuring out starting abilities or something. Or, you know, just not play period.

its not your teams fault that you leave game and ruin it for them so its punishable
