I'm confused. How is this toxic. I got a 25 game chat restriction for responding to my teammates who were calling me retarded, boosted, mentally challenged, fucking garbage, bad, telling me to stfu whenever I responded to there flame and somehow they can report me and get me punished. 90% of what I typed in this chat was in response to them flaming me and I didn't even curse once. The worse thing I typed was idiot and that was in response to being called retarded. Other then that I was simply replying to there comments explaining my reasoning for why I was losing lane and was actually being positive saying it doesn't matter how many times Olaf goes top Aatrox won't be able to carry and I will out scale him. Somehow this is toxic and I deserve to be chat restricted when everything they were typing was 2x worse. A reply to what I did wrong and how I could improve it would be very much appreciated.

Yes you called someone an idiot, and yes that's bad. But I think most of your chat is centered around arguing with your jungler about whether or not to gank top or camp top. We'll all differ about strategy from time to time. Sometimes we'll agree. This would be one of those times that didn't happen. You and your jungler probably hadn't played that many games, but our individual experiences and knowledge of the game dictates how we strategize. This guy might have come off his 10th game in a row where Aatrox carried the game, whereas you could have had a similar, but opposite occurrence. At any rate, the arguing was futile, which at some point you must have noticed, yet you continued anyway. That, I feel is more likely what led to your chat restriction.

In summary, don't insult, argue less, and if you differ in strategy, suggest (as you had) alternatives, but let it go if they're just not willing to listen to you.

The League support team is trash, they don't really help out with these silly bans. The reporting system is retarded. Riot thinks that calling someone an idiot is worse than someone trolling and playing like shit on purpose all game. Rito needs to fix their shit xD

The system is trigger happy and has been for a while. Even if you disagree, at this point, there's nothing players can do about it. Basically conform or get screwed.

Same thing just happened to me, people hard flaming me and reporting me after the game. I think the only explicitly negative thing I said was "you are bad", similar to your calling somebody an idiot. What i did do was use chat a lot, much like yourself. Apparently their justification is that if you are not using chat to be positive, you deserve your ban. Yes, I am going to be overtly kind to the people literally calling me human trash, makes a lot of sense.

As of right now many people are getting banned simply for using chat a lot in games and not being some sort of machine that spits out positive chat. You don't even have to be actually negative in your chat to get banned at this point, apparently just not being positive is enough even if the other people on your team are actually flaming you.
