Any idea why so many people are going AFK, not because of disconnect?

So, recently, me and my friends have witnessed players who just join the game, just go move and dance for a bit without buying items and then disconnect. They may or may not reconnect later to do the same thing, but not do anything. Some flash in base, some just dance and go afk. It's clearly not a disconnect, because theyre completely silent for one thing, and they just emote and dance...

I'm in platinum elo right now, is this happening to anyone?

I don't think its a disconnect issue from the bottom of my heart, it feels like its being done on purpose, but I don't know the reason as to why.

well are they ranked same tier as u? cause id say one of 2 things if so.......... its cause they super cocky which is natural guess or fact they got to that tier they just dont care anymore

and if they arent same tier as u then its a ooh look platinum player they can take care of this by themselves

which to be honest to some aspect i wouldnt blame them cause ive played with platinum ppl and they always acted like they were the best and needed no team but have i ever just left them to fend their own no i still supported whether they wanted it or not.... to which 20% of time they would quit cause their cocky pride of not needing help

Yep. I've been demoted to Plat 4 from Plat 2 (not this account, my alt) because of this happening constantly, except mine comes with toxicity as well.
