Honour System Regarding Pre-mades
As a player who never touches Solo Q because I much prefer playing normals with friends, we obviously always end up honouring each other. However, after visiting the Riot Support page, I've read that honours by pre-mades will not contribute to anything:
Q: "Can I game the system and boost to level 5 by constantly playing with a premade and honoring each other every game?" A: "That’s a great idea. Luckily, we’ve broken a few systems in our day, too. So we specifically built Honor so potential exploits like this give you (and your friend) literally no benefit.

Now obviously I understand how the system can be abused and why this limitation has been added but it is disheartening to honour a friend who made a good Baron/Dragon call but having it be negligible in the progress of leveling up. I am aware that one can level up without being honoured which is also mentioned on the page but it will take a longer time:
Q: "If I get no Honors, do I still level up?" A: "You will, just a little more slowly than those who rack them up like crazy."
Although the rewards should not be the main aim of the honour system, it does make that 'pat on the back' feel more genuine and meaningful. I'd like to hear your thoughts though, and I realise that determining whether pre-mades are honouring genuinely or just farming them out is tricky to categorise. Maybe a Rioter could give their insight?
I just want to get the message out that not all pre-mades honour each other just for the sake of it but as a way to express their gratitude to a certain friend in the group who really made the difference to their game, as the system should truly be. So it seems a little unfair that pre-mades are penalised for it because of others who abuse the system.
All in all, it isn't known how greatly honours impact the progress of leveling up so it is tricky to discuss this issue.
