Is Refusing to End Reportable?

A trend in ARAM that has been infuriating me to no end is that, the majority of the time, the team that's winning (or has pretty much already won) simply refuses to end the game. I'm not talking about those that decline to surrender - I'm talking the folks who just sit outside the spawn area and allow their minions to end the game while they either intentionally suicide or kamikaze to take out the new spawns.

The one I just got out of had this bite them on the butt, yes, but most games don't end that way. And the reason it rankles me is because, aside from wasting the time of the losing team (or rather, 3/5 of the losing team), is that it's just degrading. It's the equivalent, in my eyes, to a little league team that spits on their opponent's shoes after winning rather than actually shaking their hand. It's gotten to the point that I genuinely loathe seeing "gg" after these, as the game was anything but "good" because of that behavior.

And for clarification - the odd "Okay, you're coming out to defend - we'll take care of you before finishing it off" doesn't bother me. What does is having the entire team dead, and the entire opposing team simply standing in place deliberately waiting for fresh spawns to kill, if not just suiciding instead.

alt-tab, put on some music and wait for the end. With super minions, it shoudln't take too long.

It's grey area. There was an instance of prolonging the game for hours. That got punished. If it only happens for 10 minutes, probably not going to get punished. (Citation needed.)

I've won a few games because the opposing team did this.

Also almost lost a game the other day because my team did this.

But really, OP, just fucking deal with it. We don't need to be constantly looking for more behaviors to punish.

As long as it isn't my team doing that, I would not worry about it. If the enemy allows me a chance to win by not finishing the match, I take that chance and attempt to crush them. I don't give them that luxury and I go for the nexus when I can do so.

If my team does that (especially if we lose 'thanks' to that), I might report them for assisting the enemy, but I would know that the IFS would not punish them. I guess that is a stress relief of some kind for me on those occasions. I will not honor those who do that if I detect that happening in any case.

I wish. But there's not category for it so no.

So! It can't stop your from doing the same, be the festering wound that sits there and dances at an aced Nexus.

If they sit in their base or just stand idle they can be flagged for being AFK and if they intentionally feed kills they can be flagged for intentional feeding/assisting enemy team.
