Hyper Sensitivity in Reporting

I'm all for a clean environment and gameplay but this hypersensitivity is getting a bit out of hand. I freely admit that I have a few lapses of judgement in conversation and that game one is certainly worthy of a report but come on. The other two games barely have any chatter at all and at best were some minor chiding. Its pretty blatant that RIOT just wants to get as many people on their punishment list so they don't have to hand out free skins/champs with their chests. This is my very first chat restriction ever. There will not be another. There will also never be another cent spent on RP. Regardless of any steps RIOT takes I will not financially support a company that is so blatantly exploiting its player base.

It baffles me how so many players who post these "Rito y u punish me???" really can't see how they're being toxic. Riot doesn't want you to be a toxic asshole so they don't have to give you a skin. Riot wants their playerbase to not be disrespectful and ruin the game for others playing it.

"Minor" chiding. What do you consider major then? Pretty sure Riot doesn't want people on the punishment list. It's just to stop people from behaving like this :/

Relentless negativity can be worse than isolated profane outbursts. You're dragging your team's spirit down and potentially tilting them by carrying this attitude into games. If your bot lane is doing poorly, for example, repeatedly stating as much helps nobody and can actively harm you. And repeatedly calling for surrender early in the game is negative behavior as well.

That's what "toxicity" means, to me. If I randomly tell you "F--- YOU!" once in a game, if you have any thickness of skin whatsoever, you can brush that off. But if I point out how garbage a player you are repeatedly over the course of 30 minutes, that can wear on you. So don't be that guy.
