Does no one give out honors anymore?

Been playing support Zilean, speed up allies, slow enemies, mass stun in team fights, Ult allies as needed, win team fights, win games, usually one of the highest champion damage output, highest assists and lowest death in the game. ranked S+

My team still don't even give out a single honor............ :(

Man, what a tough crowd.

I feel like there should be some kind of incentives for people to actually click on a few buttons to give out honors, because truth be told, without any kind of incentives, most people just don't even bother with it because they gain absolutely nothing for giving out honors even when a fellow teammate really deserves it.

You get absolutely nothing for honoring. Maybe if it was like "1% more ip earned from honoring" with obvious decays for honor spamming players, people would do it. It'd also shut people up who bitch about ip rates being too low.

I frequently get the alert message that I have used up all my available honors. LOL

It's not unusual to get none in return, though. But oh well.

I frequently give out honors to those that I feel deserve it, so much so that I've gotten the "You've used up all your honors" message before (you generally seem to get about 2 per game). I myself have gotten allot of honors: enough to have the Green Teamwork/Great Teammate Ribbon and the Yellow Great Leader Ribbon (the latter of which is currently visible on my account). Of course it may help that I primarily play Co-op Vs. AI, but ultimately it all depends on who you're playing with.

If a zilean rezzed a teammate other than themselves I would totally give them a teamwork honor. I usually honor people just for swapping lanes as needed.

I also give friendly honors to anyone who makes me laugh.

I am far too salty to honor opponents most of the time, but I do honor enemies who were obviously better than me if I win and they don't spend post-game chat insulting their teammates.
