I want to rant about my team surrendering a perfectly winnable game, so winnable in fact we aced em

we had baron, we were pushing inhib towers, they were all dead, we were 4 men up, we were ahead, we had every advantage.

My team then decided to surrender for no real reason, I wasn't even being toxic is the worst part, I was pretending to be a manly man and joking with the enemy team while my team were I assume playfully insulting their jungler friend repeatedly (I assume since the kass never once complained about it or even mentioned it)

their reasoning at the end? 'Braum wanted to win, so we made sure he lost. Git Gud Braum.'

I just....

why!

I believe there should be surrender conditions, but it would be tough to nail down exactly what would be "fair" to consider "losing enough" to warrent a surrender, and "not losing enough" to not allow one.

I think 20 minutes alone is not nearly sufficient reason to allow either side to surrender.

It's hard to say what sort of gold, kill, or tower deficit is enough to justify a game as "unwinnable", especially since death timers alone can be enough to win/lose a game beyond a certain point.

I would honestly prefer that Riot remove the surrender option completely. I never vote yes to surrender because by the time I feel it is impossible to win the enemy is literally just about to destroy the Nexus. I think it is more honorable to have them take the victory, but I will do every thing I can to make them earn it.

Unfortunately, forcing people to remain in a game they no longer want to try in is not good for anyone.
