"I'll fucking kill you kid" - In response to a 1 v 1 duel offer in game.

I was reported because the opposite team lost.

I got 4 dragons and a baron, congratulated my team, and joked with them about losing.

Why was I permanently banned for one game's chat logs that were misconstrued?

Only one game chat logs showed me permanently banned for.

This is insane, Riot. This game is not meant for children. Up your ersb ratings. I don't deserve to be perma'd.

P.S. This is new generation. The word "%%%%%%" is not racist. It points out someones attitude. Has nothing to do with color. Get it right.

Dude, it's explicitly stated in the ToS and in-game messages that hate speech is treated with zero tolerance, and the word choice you've used are two of the most common examples of hate speech.

You're welcome to your own opinions, and I sure as hell don't feel like getting into an argument about social justice etc. But society has rules to follow, and League is no different. You'd get fired in a heartbeat if you called somebody the "n-word" at your job, and if you were the customer, you'd probably get kicked out of the store. You can't get away with saying stuff like this in the real world, so why should League be different?

you get an warning when you click accept to the terms and conditions to use league of legends. in that wall of text is rule put forth by riot in which you have to abide by to use their game. it appears at every patch or update or when you 1st download the client. by clicking accept you agree and from that point forward they have the right to refuse service to any one based on any reason they listed that violates their terms of service. they are not obligated to give you any other warning. but riot is being nice by having a system that progressively gets more harsh the more you violate the terms. however they do not have to abide by that if they deem you behavior to be worthy of a ban at any point they reserve the right to do so.

This is what got you punished for this game the first and second to last lines especially so. It doesn't matter if you don't find it offensive or racist, that kind of language isn't allowed here period. Riot has a zero tolerance policy for hate speech, and this policy stands no matter who you are. Even if you ignore the hate speech you still decided to go afk just because your team was losing and not performing up to your standards.

You should have two other games in the game client version of your Reform Card, so post those here if you're looking for a truly honest review. Regardless though you were punished for a history of negative behavior across multiple games, not just 1-3. If you're unwilling to interact with others in a neutral or positive manner then multiplayer online games are not for you. From Understanding the Tribunal:

1) What's the point of having a language filter if I can get banned for 'adult' language? a) We aren't out to punish players who use adult language; in fact, very few players are ever banned for saying stuff like "f***, I missed that skill shot" or "damn, fing close game!" However, the language filter is not an excuse to verbally abuse someone in the game. When you verbally abuse or harass someone by calling them "fing *****" or "ngger noob", that's when you've crossed the line and will be punished by the Tribunal. I've said this before and I'll say it again, we aren't trying to clean online games of adult language; we're trying to reform or get rid of jerks who like to verbally abuse and harass other players.

I should also mention that punishments are handed out in tiers:

Strike1: 10-game chat restriction. Strike2: 25-game chat restriction. Strike3: 2-week ban. Strike4: Permanent ban.

Showing enough of a reformation effort can allow you to drop down levels to lesser punishments, but on the flipside extreme negative behavior can cause you to skip the chat restrictions altogether and go straight to the 2-week ban and permaban steps instead.
