@Riot, I've always complained about all the changes and always said bad things about Riot
I srly always complained about all the changes Riot did from the reworks, preseason change, mid season change, jg timer, champion balance. Up until now I always tell my friends Riot is ruining their games, but now I think they might be doing really good! There are def some pros and cons I have about each patch, but the logic behind these patches and moves I finally understand!
Pre-season change and all these item and champion reworks are designed to better stablize the league environment, bringing out champions that were not used often than some selected ones and bringing out fun factors that did not exist in previous seasons. As a person who started Aos genre in lol in 2013, I've never known what to do and were not given much information as to what to do. I felt so lost and gave up several times until my friends actually helped me understand the game and got me excited about league of legends. The jg timer and tips and even dragon change are directed at players that experience AOS for the first time to really adapt in easily. I saw some posts that complained about making this game easier, but it really does help other new players to play this game better and to make this game better ultimately. Those who complained only make the newbies hard to enter the game and make this game worse than it really is. Although I miss the old jg when we did not have jg timers, but looking back how hard it used to be when I learned about the whole jg system, I am very positive these changes really do bring out people to play and enjoy this game.
Another good point about making champions' skill sets from targeting to skill shots and adding mastery levels is that it emphasizes how hard we need to try to be good at one champions. Looking back at veigar and ryze, yes it was hard for them to farm up to one shot champs, but it was not hard for players to react to Ryze and veigar since their skills were all targeting skills. The value of having possible venues for players to outplay each other is another good aspect I really appreciate Riot.
Despite the fact that I really do miss solo que and team ranked since it gave me feeling like I am in a some kinds of lcs team when i played team ranked, the rest of the changes and feedbacks we get from Riot are built under good intentions and I can see through their efforts to make this game more than just a game. The recent pbe patches about kind and nid and all other champs are really good and I love them. I hope Riot does not get turned down by people complaining about this and that because they are afraid of changes. Thanks Riot for allowing me to enjoy this game and it was the first time I actually put myself fired up for 3 or so years. I will keep my eyes on you and I hope you do well.
