Riot says everyone has bad days but their punishment system doesn't reflect that at all

riot keeps stating that they understand everyone has bad days. but then you can get punished without them sending you any warnings that your behavior could lead to a punishment and on your FIRST punishment you lose all end of season rewards and get a 10 day mute, the 10 day mute in and of itself is fine for a first warning, but to make someone drop to honor level 1 in the 3-4 months before end of season when they worked their asses off to get to whatever rank they are is just not okay for a company that keeps saying "everyone has bad days" why would you possibly drop someone down to 1 honor for their first punishment when you KNOW it takes 2+ months to get back to honor level 2 and that if they get punished in August or September they would have virtually no way of getting end of season rewards by November 8th aside from playing league 4+ times a day with zero valid reports(not punishments just valid reports)

the mute is enough of a warning. with this new season requiring honor level 2 to get end of season rewards It's a sad truth that there will be many MANY FIRST TIME offenders that get punished in August-November that will never see their rewards. everyone has bad days, and for that you can't have end of season rewards

unless riot speeds up the honor system past August or lowers the requirements like the previous season as long as you don't have an active chat restrict or a previous ban, then I honestly can't believe that riot wants people to actually reform, how can a company take away all end of season rewards for a first time punishment and expect anyone to actually want to reform or do better?

Sure it does. Unless you're dropping slurs or suicide encouragement in a very specific way, you are free to intentionally feed your heart out, call people trash, and so forth, and nothing will be done unless you're doing it most games.

when you KNOW it takes 2+ months to get back to honor level 2

The only way it takes that long is if you are getting validly reported, or if you don't play that much. People have gotten from 0->1 in under a week.

Didn't it use to be that, if you were under some sort of chat restriction or ban within a certain time-frame of the season end, you didn't receive season rewards?

At least now it accommodates people who play a lot of games and is dependent not only on time but on the person's honest effort to show good behavior.
