it's really frustrating when you get a troll in champ select and your only choices are join the game, hoping and praying you have good enough teammates to make up for it, and deal with them for at least 20 min because at least then you can report them, or drop and take a punishment yourself AND have no way to report them.
i see no people getting banned from trolling and reports are worthless now as the trolls report too
It definitely feels like a lose/lose scenario. I guess that's what makes it so tempting to trolls. They can say they're trolling and you either have to take a hit because you don't want to play with them, or remain as their captive audience for a game and lose. Sometimes you can win regardless of a troll, but either way it can be a very unfun experience.
Just report after game and move on.
You are doing the community a service by reporting disruptive players.
What is your solution though?
Yes it sucks that you can sometimes have to dodge and wait out a minor penalty because someone else is trolling. But that penalty is easily worth it and you benefit from its existence every time you queue up by having less games dodged.
