LIke, someone has been playing hundreds and hundreds of games to get gold 5, and then got one chat restriction and lose every thing he worked on? seriously? 3 games ? 2 hours of a bad behaviour, and u lose 300 days of playing xD?? To be honest, chat restriction should be just a warning, not a punishment. Also, toxicity shouldn't be a bannable thing, u have the mute buton, also, very often the toxic players are the only good ones in the team and are trying to win the game (Like me) while the other lanes are all losing, and not even trying, u cannot fix a player who is inting and trolling, there isn't a button for that.

Last thing, i dont care about the season rewards, i really don't like the skins of the borders lmao,i'm just talking for the people who got punished because of only 3 games of bad behaviour, while trollers and inters (bad players who feed 90% of their games )have thousands of games and still not punished

This isn't new. Riot has had players made ineligible for end of season rewards in past years due to getting punishments near the season's end - the only difference is the parameters aren't arbitrary.

Getting punished near the end of the season pretty much guarantees you don't get rewards. It's been that way for a while, I dunno why people are acting like it's new.

To be honest, chat restriction should be just a warning, not a punishment.

It's both.

Also, toxicity shouldn't be a bannable thing...

Says you. The majority of people, unsurprisingly, do not like toxicity, and Riot doesn't welcome toxicity in their community. Whether you like it or not, toxicity is a bannable offense.

...u have the mute buton...

The mute feature is not an excuse for poor behavior. It's a short term mitigation tool that is best used in tandem with the long-term mitigation tool. The report feature.

We have the mute button, we also have the report button. Now what?

...also, very often the toxic players are the only good ones in the team and are trying to win the game...

I have seldom seen a toxic player be good at the game, let alone the only skilled player on the team. But, if they're so good at the game and so hell-bent on winning, why would they waste their skill and energy on being toxic? Toxicity doesn't help you win.

...u cannot fix a player who is inting and trolling, there isn't a button for that.

You have the report button, use it. You may not be able to stop them in the immediate sense, but reporting trolls can almost certainly lead to them getting a punishment for their misbehavior.

Just, y'know. Don't stoop to their level and start being toxic as well. That does more harm than good.

To actually get a CR, you have to do sth-

Usual flaming etc won't get you a CR, at least I haven't got any form of CR since Season3 - and I remember several games where I ... well... "wasn't nice"...

also, very often the toxic players are the only good ones in the team and are trying to win the game (Like me) while the other lanes are all losing, and not even trying,

People like you, are usually the reason why the team loses motivation. Blaming and flaming WON'T HELP THE SLIGHTEST. I don't understand why people are not getting that. Yes, you can tell someone to play safe and/or mage suggestions, but simply blaming because you think you are better is sth... that's simply just dishonorable.

There are in the ELO they are in for a reason- and so are you. If you both are in this ELO, then your basically equal- If you are that better, climb up- several dozens of people already proved that you can climb easily if you are better than the ELO you are in.

Chat restriction usually doesn't come from "only 3 games". Those 3 chat logs the punished persons gets to see with the punishment are usually just some of the worst from the player's recent matches. Usually the player has consistently behaved poorly and thus I don't see how he has "worked hard the whole year" to get some rewards. He should have worked harder to control his behavior. Maybe next season these persons manage to show some self control and avoid getting punished.

If chat restriction only gets a warning, it would take you thousands of games to get the same result instead of hundreds. Honestly, the currently punishment and reward system got to where it is through trial and error. If you were simply warned the. You'd continue your behaviour next year. Now riot has your attention doesn't it. Be more consistent next year.

If you're toxic you deserve a chat restriction, but I'd say as long as you're not overly so and don't int or troll then you don't deserve an actual game suspension

No, you don't lose anything. You worked all those games and hours to reach Gold V. Guess what? You're Gold V. Congratulations! You have bragging rights over everyone Silver and below. Getting a chat restriction or temporary ban does not remove that. It just prevents you from getting the season rewards (if you're below Honor 2 at the end of the season), which are not required for your ranked status.
