Ban System

The post I just created was removed for some reason. I have a few questions about how the ban system works. I recently had a player on my team get auto filled to system and then he proceeded to curse at everyone in the pregame lobby. He locked in Jayce and went top with me. In the game he didn't say anything bad or negative. My entire team reported anyways due to his toxicity in the pregame lobby. According to him, he said that the pregame lobby doesn't matter and you can say whatever you want, as long as you aren't toxic in game. Is this true? And if so, is there any way I can report this player. It's anyone to play with people like this :/ and recently it seems to happen all the time.

Thanks

What this player said is not true. While the Instant Feedback System does not include pre/post game chat in the reform cards, those chats are still recorded and it is definitely possible to be punished for what you say in them.

There are a few ways to report someone for pre/post game chat:

1.) You can report them through the end game report system, making sure to include in the comment section something that mentions you are reporting the player for their pre/post game chat.

2.) You can also take a screenshot of what they said and submit it to Riot via a support ticket.

No, it's not true, and if you feel worried about it just take a screenshot and send it in a support ticket.

False. Pregame lobby discussion are recorded, however, you would want to write a note in the description to check the pregame chat records.
